Polypropylene is the material choice that makes sense for outdoor-capable rugs: UV-resistant, moisture-tolerant, and far easier to clean than natural fibres. The Brighton 98054 5042 Soft Blue Rug uses it in a flatwoven format that keeps the profile low and the weight down, which matters when you are moving furniture or rolling the rug away for storage. The colour is solution-dyed directly into the fibre, so it does not fade at the pace of surface-printed alternatives.

🧹 Care: For outdoor use, hose down when dirty and allow to air dry completely before replacing. For indoor use, vacuum regularly without a beater bar and spot-clean with cold water and mild detergent. The polypropylene fibre is resistant to mould and UV fading. Use a non-slip rug pad underneath on hard indoor floors to prevent the rug from shifting.
